Everything You Need to Know About Building Your Dream Pool
How does the construction process work?
First, our staff will work with you to finalize the design, add-on options, decking and other such details. Once all details are finalized, we will begin by grading the site and forming it into the necessary shape. We’ll then proceed with pre-plumbing and electrical, gunite, decking & plaster. Although the construction process may be unsightly, the final process will be the envy of your neighborhood.

We will help you with all of the details, including any add-on options, such as waterfalls, landscaping, etc. that you want to include.
How can I be assured you’re using quality parts and equipment when building my pool?
We use only the best parts and equipment available in the industry. When speaking with our staff, you can learn more specifically about the brands that we sell.
How can I be assured that your company is a reputable, quality pool builder?
First of all, check our list of references. There is no better way to become comfortable with our quality standards and customer service than to speak directly with our existing customers. Have A Pool? FAQ Troubleshooting
App not connecting
You will need to make sure you go to your Wi-Fi settings on your phone or device and link the system to your home Wi-Fi system. On your phone or device go to Wi-Fi settings and look for available Wi-Fi in the area. One will come up that says something about Aqualink, tap this option and it will take you to a new screen. There will be a slight delay. You should see your home Wi-Fi on this new screen. Tap your home Wi-Fi and put in your password. You will need a consistent 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi connection. A 5 ghz network will not work. Once this is connected go back to the iAqualink app.
There is not an invite code for our system. On the screen where it asks for a invite code there will be a plus symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. Tap this plus sign and a new screen will come up with a list of different systems. The top one will say something about Aqualink RS, tap this one. You will go to a new screen that asks for a device number and a system name. The device number is on the right side of the white antenna and on the paperwork that was left onsite. The system name is whatever you decide.
Please make sure that the system is in Auto mode when trying to set this up and ensure there is a good Wi-Fi signal at the equipment. It will not set up in service mode.
App Issues
If you are experiencing issues with the app it may need a reset. To do this you will need to log out of the app, then turn the breakers off at the equipment panel for at least 30 minutes, after the 30 minutes when you turn the breakers back on please wait at least 10 minutes before you log back into the app. This should take care of the issues. If not please let us know. And remember turn off the breakers for at least 30 minutes.
Water Loss
During certain times of the year you will experience higher levels of water loss and evaporation in your pool. When we have seasonal changes you will see the most water loss. As the weather goes from consistent temps at night and during the day, to cooler nights with hot days you will see greater water loss. As the temperature drops at night the air dries out, and as the air dries out it causes accelerated evaporation. So it is common to see more water loss in the fall than in the middle of summer.
Freeze in the Forecast
Your pool is set up with freeze protection if you have an Aqualink System. The pool pump and any other pumps you have will automatically turn on if we drop below freezing. This should take care of and protect your system during a freeze.
If you have a manual time clock system it is best to remove the off tabs on the time clock and let your pumps run continuously during the freezing temperatures. If you have any pumps that operate by way of a wall switch please turn these on as well.
During these freezing temperatures if you loose power and it seems it is going to be off for an extended period of time it is best to remove the drain plugs on your equipment. Your pool and water feature pumps have drain plugs on the right side near the bottom below the pump basket. The cleaner pump will have one on the front below the suction hose. The filter will have the large drain cap near the bottom. And the heater will have one on the bottom front or back of the black plastic manifold where the pipes come in to the heater. It will be located in the bottom corner of the manifold. If you need to pull the drain plugs also turn off the breakers for the system. This helps if the power comes back on and the lines are frozen.
Lastly make sure your pool fill valve is also covered and protected. If you do not have a cover for it an old towel and a plastic bag work great at keeping it warm and dry.
Lights not working
Pool lights not working?
If you are experiencing issues with your pool lights they may just need to be reset. To do this follow these steps below.
- Turn on the pool lights
- Locate the gfci on the right outside wall of the equipment panel.
- Push and hold the reset button for 5 seconds
- Once released all of the lights should turn white. If none of the lights have turned white please try again.
If the lights with issues continue to have problems or no longer come on then it is a bad light, give us a call.
Heater Issues
- Turn your remote to 104 degrees but also turn the heater on to 104 degrees from the top panel.
- Make sure both heater and spa side of the control panel are maxed out to 104.
- If that does not work, what error code is the heater display giving?
- If it says “check flow” this means, there is not enough water flow through the heater. Make sure the pool pump is turned on and fully primed. If this is good, then check to see if the filter is dirty. If the filter is dirty this can slow the water flow through the heater.
- If it says “check ignition” this means, there is not spark at the unit. This is usually caused because one of the gas valves have been turned off. If both gas valves are on please let us know.
