Do I need a permit to build a pool in Spring, TX?
Yes, and which office handles it depends on where your home sits. Spring runs from unincorporated Harris County into Montgomery County, so the permit path is not identical for every lot. We sort out the right jurisdiction up front and manage the applications and inspections from there.
Can you build around the mature trees on my lot?
Often, yes, and it is one of the things Spring homeowners ask about most. A lot of these lots carry decades-old pines and oaks, and where a tree is healthy and worth keeping, we plan access, excavation, and pool placement to protect its root zone. Where one truly has to come out, we will flag it early so it is a decision and not a surprise.

Plan on 10-12 weeks from approved design to first swim, give or take based on the size and complexity of the build, the weather, and how quickly permits and HOA approvals come back.

Yes. We run the county permitting and your HOA’s architectural review side by side and keep both moving, so the approvals never become your second job.
